14. Star Trek: Enterprise (2001-2005)

Star Trek Seven And Janeway
Paramount

Enterprise is fairly underrated by most Star Trek fans. It was really interesting to watch the formation of the Federation and many of Starfleet's rules. Throughout the series we see the humans, Vulcans, Tellarites, and Andorians, the founding members of the Federation, start to come together and cooperate.

The Temporal Cold War was also a cool concept. Time travel as a weapon is an idea that has been used before, but never to this scale. The Temporal Cold War could have been much bigger if Enterprise was able to be renewed for a fifth season. Sadly, the show was cancelled in 2005, despite a fan-led campaign to continue it.

The series started off rather rocky but quickly became more intense in the later seasons. Enterprise may have had a long road getting from there to here, but looking back on it, the show gives some lovely insight into the history of the Federation.
