13. Amber Simpson
Amber 'Vegas Mom' Simpson was a short-lived character that featured in only a handful of episodes, but she always brought her trashy charms to any scene she was featured in.
In the episode 'Viva Ned Flanders', Homer and Ned go on an almighty binge whilst in Las Vegas, and upon waking up to a scene of total carnage, they discover that they married a pair of local bar-flys.
Homer and Ned decide the best course of action is to slip away unnoticed and hightail it back to Springfield, pretending that their unplanned marriages never happened, but flash-forward to the season thirteen episode 'Brawl in the Family' and Amber suddenly appeared out of the woodwork, looking to cash in on what little money Homer had.
Homer eventually managed to get shot of her by tricking her into marrying Grandpa during a night of heavy drinking. Upon waking up and realising what she had done, Amber quickly fled, never to be seen again.
Amber never made another official appearance, and subsequently died off-screen via an overdose at an amusement park. Her funeral was held in Springfield and the Simpson family all attended out of respect for Homer's wondrously trashy sham wife.
