Oh and remember the guy who played Luke Skywalker? From that one franchise from way back when? Well, quite surprisingly, he has also been linked with The Witcher, and more precisely to Vesemir. Although a tenuous link, and one that was likely a bit of fun on Mark Hamill's part, wouldnt it be great to see the wisest and most experienced Jedi master to play the wisest and most experienced Witcher?

When a user on social media tweeted "Vesemir could and should be played by @HamillHimself", Hamill replied remarking "I have no idea what this is or what it's about but agree it could/should be played by me". Perhaps just a jibe, but with his recent resurgence into Hollywood and a clear desire to get away from Star Wars and into other serious roles, maybe this is the perfect start for him? After replying to the tweet, fans have only grown fonder of the idea. So it seems we have two fan favourites so far, Mads Mikkelsen and Mark Hamill.
