Fear The Walking Dead: 10 Mistakes The Show Can't Afford
3. Don't Move Out Of The City Immediately
One of TWD's biggest problems was the monotonous scenery for so long. There were never any great hills, nor sweeping plains, there was barely even a river. For huge swathes of the show, fans were subjected to endless, immeasurable, vast, sprawling woodland, with no real defining features or interesting landmarks. While some people weren't enamoured by Beth's Season 5 storyline, at least it was a breath of fresh air being in a city. A concrete jungle offers so many more opportunities than generic woodland, and even the Alexandria suburb is a cool place to be. Fear's characters have L.A. to play with, and they need to stay around for as long as they can, otherwise they're out in the wilderness, and BOOM... Just like that you've got the same show as TWD.
