Fear The Walking Dead: 10 Most Shocking Deaths

The number one spot for the most shocking death in Fear The Walking Dead would go to Season 6’s ‘In Dreams’ which featured a gripping story starring Morgan, Grace and her unborn baby, Athena.

From the first minute, the couple is thrown into a tense situation as Grace fades into a coma due to her soon approaching baby. With enemies (alive and dead) tagging behind Morgan carrying an unconscious Grace, the stress levels are at their maximum with possible impending death.

We are then introduced to a vibrant dream state which served also as a time jump into a possible comfortable future in their current settlement. Seeing older versions of familiar characters such as Dwight and Sherry, a prominent teenager who makes an appearance is Grace's unborn daughter named Athena. Serving as a powerful mother-daughter duo, the two try to reach the barn where Morgan is currently fending off Riley and company from getting his key in real life.

With the episode dancing on the edge whether Grace would survive childbirth or not, the audience is gripped with tension. Clarity is temporarily reintroduced as Riley is sent off with the key and the tape plays over Athena's birth.

The shock comes when the dark twist is revealed that Athena didn't survive. Silence echoes everywhere as Grace delivers the final emotional words of the episode, "It wasn't my last moments I was seeing. It was hers".
