What a loose cannon Troy Otto was. With his allegiance wavering throughout his time in the wasteland, he served as a major antagonist for our main group as well as a key ally.
Troy's relationship with Madison could be defined as severely inconsistent - going from having lodged a spoon in his eye in their first meeting to serving essentially as a foster mother.
Nick helped Troy to cover up his responsibility for the horde being directed at the ranch in fear of Daniel executing him. After beginning to almost reconcile his actions and contributing to Madison's cause with more loyalty, Troy's character development looked like it was about to take off.
That is, until Nick shares the secret with Madison who then immediately strikes Troy with a fatal hammer whack to the head, killing him immediately. Maybe another spoon could've sufficed?
