Fear The Walking Dead: Everything You Need To Know

4. A Family Drama

As opposed to having a very different and disparate group of survivors come together, arriving at various points by all sorts of means, and forming a bond that at its strongest is like a surrogate family, Fear will actually focus heavily on a proper family life. So there will be Travis, and his attempts at having a new life with his new family, Madison and her kids, but also his son and his ex-wife as well, and trying to deal with all of the usual drama those situations throw up while also being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. As Kim Dickens told ET: "This very normal family is faced with this out-of-control fall of civilization." Adam Davidson added: "We're experiencing the fall of L.A. through the fall of this family, and you're in the trenches with them. That's what makes it exciting and what keeps it emotional and grounded." Obviously it sounds like a very dysfunctional family - which, I guess, could be considered the norm - and quite how all of that plays out with a huge amount of chaos surrounding it and complicating their own drama sounds like a pretty interesting take on things.
