Fear The Walking Dead Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen Next

2. Start To Bring Everyone Back Together

Although the show started as being about a family, or two families who came together to make one, it has now got a very disparate set of characters. You've got group 1, with Strand, Maddie, Alicia, and Ophelia; group 2, with Chris and Travis; and then Nick all on his own.

On the upside, this offers the chance for the show to mix things up quite a bit. It can do episodes like Grotesque, where it focuses on one character, or it can have an episode with three different storylines running concurrently.

However, part of what made Fear enjoyable was that family dynamic, something we'd not really explored too much in The Walking Dead, since Rick's group were all very different people who happened to come together. Travis is at his best, for example, when he has Maddie around him, and Nick may be entertaining as a lone wolf, but his presence among the entire family is better for all the characters.

It can't just suddenly bring everyone back together at once, but it does need to start moving them into place for it, so that we can have at least one reunion by the end of the season, enjoy more of the family dynamics that are supposed to be an intrinsic part of the show, and re-establish the group for Season 3.
