This should come as no surprise to anyone who watched Barry Allens introduction during Arrows second season, but saying Grant Gustin did a good job as Barry is an understatement to say the least. Gustin was a large part of why the CW opted to go straight to a pilot order of The Flash rather than their planned back-door pilot towards the end of Arrows season, as his acting was not only praised by critics, fans and studios alike. From the look of the trailer Gustin will be much better in the role as he dons the suit and officially becomes The Flash, going more into the depths of his character and his desire to help people. It can be seen from the trailer Gustin is taking the role seriously while still having a lot of fun playing the character; in many scenes where hes running or testing out his powers hes got a huge grin on his face and it's most likely only part of that comes from the script. From everything seen so far, it looks like Gustin will continue owning the part.
