9. Estelle Leonard
What's an actor without his agent? If you'd left Joey to try and find work for himself, he'd have probably come out with nothing. But, the crass chain-smoker Estelle slapped him up and sent him out to work, making us laugh the entire time.
This character made her presence known in season two officially. She did appear in the DVD version of the episode "The One With The Butt" in season one, but that doesn't count, seeing as it was non-canon.
After watching Joey in "Freud!" the musical, she ended up bringing him into her talent agency and did her best to get him jobs. Did she succeed at that? Well, she did get him his breakout role as Dr Drake Ramoray, but other than that, she wasn't the best at finding him parts.
Estelle was a tasty slice of ridiculousness, as her character didn't try to be believable for one second. Instead, she was over-the-top, silly and incredibly amusing, which made her such a memorable part of the show.
