Friends: 10 Reasons Why Ross Is The Worst Person Ever
9. His Constant Jealousy
Let's get one thing out in the open before things kick off, because this is a recurring theme on this list: Ross is an abysmal boyfriend.
Case in point, his relationship with Rachel in season three hits a major blip when his jealousy shows itself. At her new job, Rachel finds herself with a new colleague called Mark (Steven Eckholdt), whom Ross becomes instantly suspicious of, thinking he's going to steal Rachel away from him and cut him out of his girlfriend's life.
Now, yes, Ross has issues with trust ever since his own wife cheated on him, but that doesn't justify his actions here. This is a whole new relationship, after all, and his possessiveness and paranoia only show that he doesn't trust Rachel and that he has a seriously fragile ego.
Whilst the episode also shows that Rachel herself is slightly jealous of Ross's interactions with another woman, she is never petty or untrusting enough to eavesdrop on him or embarrass him like he did her (at her new job, no less).
