15. Anna Faris (Erica)
After recurring roles in the Scary Movie movies and a bit part in Lost In Translation, it would be unfair to Anna Faris to claim that Friends launched her career. However, after nailing the role as the sweet but ditzy Erica on the show and going on to play variations on that character for long stretches of her career, Friends certainly didn’t hurt.
Farris had supporting roles in My Super Ex Girlfriend, Brokeback Mountain and Just Friends, before snagging the lead role in 2008’s The House Bunny, which went on to become her defining role. Farris plays a playboy bunny who’s sent out of the Playboy mansion for her own good, to experience more of the world, and ends up leading a nerdy fraternity. It’s much better than it had any right to be.
Post House Bunny, Faris has enjoyed sitcom success in Mom alongside the hugely talented Allison Janney. The show closed its sixth season in the summer and has already been renewed through its eighth.
Off screen, she enjoyed what seemed like a storybook marriage to Chris Pratt (her second marriage after Ben Indra), but the couple unfortunately divorced in 2018.
