Friends: Rachel's Boyfriends Ranked!

It's very easy to write Barry off at first glance, and he does somewhat deserve it. Still, although he's a terrible fiancé and husband, at least he gives you a great character to hate. But, more than that, he is still a boyfriend that Rachel almost walked down the aisle for. Sure, he isn't a great example of someone treating Rachel right - cheating on her isn't the most promising start - but he acted as a guide for her future serious relationships.

Barry is the man Rachel left at the altar at the beginning of the series and is a consistent figure in the show. He is essentially the starting point for her development as a person. After ruining their relationship by cheating on her with her maid of honour, he became the catalyst that made Rachel decide to change her life.

As a person, Barry was charming enough, and you could see what Rachel liked about him. But, at the same time, they simply felt like they were from two different worlds.
