Friends: The Worst Thing Each Friend Has Done!

The saga of Ross & Rachel is sometimes touted as one of the greatest love stories ever told. But, is it really? Sure, everyone loved watching the goofy pair try to figure it out, and they put the will they/won't they trope on the map. Still, these two put themselves through the wringer so much that it often made you wonder if they were actually meant to be. This moment was a textbook example of that.

The two-part finale to season 4 of Friends is one of the show's biggest accomplishments, but it's also rather emotionally gruelling. After refusing to go to Ross' wedding (a big sin in itself), Rachel decided to go to London anyway and confess her feelings to Ross right before he was set to marry Emily.

It's true that confessing your love is always the right call, but in this circumstance, maybe flying across the world to actively try and ruin someone's marriage ceremony is a sign that you've waited too long. In the end, Rachel chose not to ruin Ross' big day, but she likely led to his infamously painful line flub by simply being there.

The entire course of Ross' life (and the show in general) would have looked a lot different had she not done this.
