Futurama: 10 Best Zoidberg Moments

9. Zoidberg Goes Through Reverse Ageing

Futurama Zoidberg
20th Television

The crew take the Professor to an age-reducing spa after he becomes too senile beyond the point of return. They go to extreme circumstances by bathing him in hot tar but an accident causes all the crew to fall into the tar and revert back to their teen years. In an attempt to bring himself and his staff to their original ages, the professor accidentally makes them all younger and they continue to go through reverse ageing before their impending deaths.

It’s Zoidberg who steals the show as he goes progresses through various crustacean, invertebrate and larvae forms. He is seen in the form of a parasite who sucks off Farnsworth’s blood, an anglerfish and a starfish.

There’s also a mild scare that Zoidberg dies after staying into the fountain of ageing for too long. It’s a false alarm though as Zoidberg reverted to the age where his siblings botted from him and his brother Norman split off and jumped into the fountain – apparently, his brother always had to be the centre of attention!
