Futurama: 10 Ways Fox Should End The Show

9. Professor Farnsworth Creates One Doomsday Device Too Many

Doomsday We all know that the Professor loves his doomsday devices, and one day the mad old coot is bound to succeed against all odds, and well and truly put an end to life as we know it. Why he does this is anybody's guess; his reasons are buried somewhere within the depths of his vast, cavernous but utterly senile mind. As they say, even a broken watch is right twice a day. The trouble here is that we won't get to twice a day, as Farnsworth's bumbled meddling with forces he doesn't understand finally pays off with the ultimate result. It would be very final indeed if the last scene of the series was the very universe itself winking out of existence, the last words ever uttered in creation being "Good news everybody!"
