3. Zoidberg Tried To Kill Fry
Before the episode Why Must I Be A Crustacean In Love?, Doctor Zoidberg was always a reserved character, however after becoming heavy with male jelly, he became a testosterone fueled, far friskier, monster version of himself. It was mating season for the Decapodians, and Zoidberg was desperate to find a partner.
To support their resident physician, the Planet Express crew traveled to Zoidberg's home planet, though unfortunately for him, he was just as much a loser there as he was on Earth. No one wanted to mate with him, not even Edna, who he went to high school with.
He quickly became infatuated with the girl he knew from childhood, though she found herself falling in love with Fry. The man from the past suddenly became involved in an alien love triangle he wanted absolutely no part in. The jealous doctor challenged his friend to a fight to the death for Edna's love.
In front of a colosseum full of people, Zoidberg tried to kill Fry, and even managed to cut off his arm, just second after Fry refused to kill him. All in the name of love, an emotion that the Decapodian didn't even understand just days before.
