8. The Lesser Of Two Evils (S2E11)
What could be worse than one Bender? How about two? Or at least a robot completely identical to Bender in every way, even down to their serial numbers being expressible as the sum of two cubes. This is where Flexo came into things.
Fry ran over the new bending unit, bringing him into Bender’s life. Of course, they became best friends and made life even harder for the people of Planet Express. Even though he was no worse than Bender, Fry didn’t know him, and didn’t like him. But how can there be an evil version of Bender, when Bender is already the evil version of Bender?
When the priceless atom that was to be delivered to the Miss Universe pageant went missing, Fry and Leela suspected Flexo immediately, but even in spite of Flexo's suspicious beard, it was Bender all along. Ever the master criminal, he used the mistrust around Flexo to take the atom himself, and was only foiled at the last minute by falling props.
Even after being found with the stolen item in his compartment, the authorities STILL took Flexo away, leaving Bender to carry on as if nothing ever happened, continuing his long streak of never learning his lesson.
