Futurama: Every Planet Express Crew Member Ranked
16. Dwight Conrad
Dwight finishes above of his mother, but that’s about it. Similar to LaBarbara, Dwight has some decent moments, but most of them are away from Planet Express.
He’s only on the books during The Route Of All Evil, where he and Cubert turn so successful with their paper delivery company that they can buy out Professor Farnsworth and turn it into Awesome Express.
Cubert is firmly in the driving seat for that episode, with side plots dealing with Hubert and Hermes struggling with displacement and Bender being ‘pregnant’ with a home-brewed ale. This all means that Dwight is underused in the extreme, and his ranking badly suffers.
In episodes like Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV, we get to see him bouncing off Cubert and building up his own personality with little tics and comments. He’s actually written as a child too, unlike The Route Of All Evil where they focus on the euroticisms of his persona much more.
He’s a way funnier and more popular character than his mother anyway, but the pair of them both do their best stuff away from Planet Express.
