Futurama: Every Time Travel Story Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Futurama: The Game
Back in 2003, Futurama ventured into the world of PlayStation and Xbox with Futurama: The Game. Though nowhere near the levels of The Simpsons: Hit & Run, which released around the same time, it was a fun game and a great story.
After the Professor sold Planet Express to Mom, conveniently giving her control over 51% of the Earth, she became its supreme ruler. The game sees Fry, Bender, and Leela fly around the universe trying to stop her before heading to Bogad at the far corner of the universe, to utilize Adoy’s time machine.
Going back in time to stop Mom, there are several questions about mysteries earlier in the game answered, just the right amount of fun poked at how convoluted time travel is, and it ended with the Professor selling Planet Express to Mom again anyway, trapping the crew in a wonderful cycle of hilarity.
Arguably, this could have made a better story for Futurama’s first movie than Bender’s Big Score, though it wouldn’t have ended with the rip in space that ultimately led into the Beast with a Billion Backs.
