We've already talked about one Wildling who showed the viewers they had more to offer. So now, let's talk about patient zero, the woman who not only showed fans they could like the Free Folk but taught Jon a thing or two about love.
This fiery warrior made a splash right from the get-go. She and Jon played a reversing game of capturing the other, with Jon eventually coming out the loser and becoming a captive of the Wildlings. However, things would eventually become far more amicable between the pair as Ygritte and Jon fell in love.
Their romantic dynamic was incredibly popular with fans, as Ygritte was rough around the edges and spoke her mind, making quite the startling challenge for Jon, but one he loved playing with. It was easy to see what he liked about her, as she had a passion and confidence that managed to make her downright hilarious but also tragic at the same time.
Her eventual demise was one of the show's saddest - which is saying a lot.
