Game Of Thrones: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One
6. Ramsay Bolton
After the death of the infamous and despised King Joffrey, the show needed a new maniacal villain to pick up the pieces. Luckily for fans (but not the residents of Westeros), they had the perfect candidate in The Bastard Of Bolton, Ramsay.
This character was introduced as a bait and switch, helping Theon escape his imprisonment and bonding over his troubles. But, all that friendliness was a simply rouse to bring Theon right back into the torture chamber, mess his head up and reveal that the guy who'd just helped him was his captor all along.
Ramsay continued to spiral into being the most hateable character in the show from thereon. He tormented numerous characters, with one of his most tragic victims being Sansa Stark, whom he married and abused.
Simply put, the guy was a real piece of work, and his over-the-top sadism made him fill the hole left by the former King of the seven kingdoms easily. Thankfully though, he got his comeuppance in the end, after being eaten by his dogs. That's what you get for training them to eat humans in the first place.
