2. Tywin's Death

The whole death scene for Tywin was a masterpiece of tension and the culmination of a deep-rooted sadness inside Tyrion that his father never saw him as anything more than the baby responsible for killing the woman who gave birth to him. Tyrion was subjected to a lifetime of being second best, and quite literally had to look up to everyone else. Tywin had always picked fault with Tyrion's lusty behaviour, yet in the end, Tyrion's prostitute/girlfriend Shae ended up betraying him and was discovered in Tywin's bed. Tywin was always accustomed to 100% dignity, icy calmness, total control, and tyrannical authority, yet he's given the most poetically humiliating death after being shot dead by a crossbow with his trousers around his ankles sitting atop a very different kind of throne...
