3. Jaime Losing His Hand

Jaime's moments of poetic justice aren't related to death, as he's still alive and kicking. However the moment he has his right hand removed by a band of Roose Bolton's men, he is effectively transformed into a whole new person. The hand that gets removed was the one responsible for his most infamous act, killing the king, and earning the Kingslayer title which formed an enormous chunk of his identity. It's used again to thrust Bran Stark from the window during the pilot episode, another moment that revealed Jaime's dark side. However, since he was parted from his hand, he's become a more humble individual and the menacing reputation he garnered seemed to part with him in the same instance.
