Game Of Thrones: 10 Biggest Anti-Climaxes

6. Renly & 'The Shadow Baby'

Renly Baratheon had it all. He had the love and support of thousands, including major lords and ladies who would've rode into battle alongside him. He would've cruised to victory at King's Landing as well, but he wasted his time and sauntered up to King's Landing as if the fate of the realm DIDN'T rest on his shoulders. I'm actually not a fan of Renly. If he'd only accepted Stannis as the rightful king, the Baratheon boys would both still have breath in their lungs and would be ruling (well) alongside each other. However, Renly's character, his potential, and everything else that he brought to show, was taken out of proceedings by a 'Shadow Baby' as many fans have dubbed it. People thought it seemed like a cheap way to rid the world of Renly, and it means that while we've heard all about the Tyrell's wealth and power, we're yet to actually see it on a grand scale.
