Why It Was A Mistake: Yezzan zo Qaggaz is only a relatively minor character in the novels but he carries an enormous physical presence. The richest man in Yunkai is gratuitously described as having yellow eyes and being so morbidly obese that he can't physically stand. He also happens to have some disease that renders him unable to control his bladder, thus giving him a permanent smell of urine that not even the strongest of perfume can mask. With a character looking like that, he wouldn't have to say anything and he'll still be the most memorable thing on-screen. The producers didn't think having an obese character in the show was a good idea so they decided to cast the normal looking Enzo Clienti as Yezzan. Clienti was perfectly fine as TV-Yezzan, but the major talking point of Yezzan was his looks and the producers inexplicably decided to get rid of that one defining characteristic. Who Shouldve Been Cast: Without a doubt, Gerard Depardieu is perfectly suited for the role. Despite becoming far more well-known in recent years for his overweight appearance and his antics than his work, his appearance would actually work in his favour for this part. Not only that, Depardieu was actually nominated for an Academy Award so you know he can bring that extra something special to the role of Yezzan.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
