Why It Was A Mistake: Daario is characterised as a sweet-talking, hunky killer who basically becomes Daenerys' bed companion and bodyguard. If Han Solo were given the 'dark and gritty' treatment, Daario is the bastardised result. When TV-Daario finally made his first appearance, it's kind of hard figure out why the producers thought Ed Skrein could fit into Daario's blue-haired shoes. Instead of bringing Daario's flamboyant dress sense, Skrein looks like Legolas' less pretty twin whom the family ostracized and never spoke about. Skrein's boy-band looks wouldn't have been so hard to accept had he managed to bring a good take on the Daario character (which he didn't). Skrein's Daario basically consists of giving out long, hard gazes and a series of smirks that are more akin to creepy than charming. Who Shouldve Been Cast: The producers actually managed to right this wrong when they cast the dashing Michiel Huisman as Ed Skrein's replacement. Not only does Huisman physically embody Daario far better than Skrein ever did (but still minus the blue hair, split beard, and colourful clothing), but he manages to bring the right balance of roguish sell-sword behaviour with the right kind of charm that makes his face infinitely less punchable.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
