The answer could be two, one or none. Nobody can say for certain, even if the middle answer looks the most likely to be true. Gregor should've been finished off by Prince Oberyn but we all know how that ended during the mind-blowing (*nudge*) Season 4 episode, but he clung to the last shreds of life. Qyburn has been busy putting on his best Dr Frankenstein impression, and at the very end of Season 5, we got a glimpse of the reborn Mountain. He is alive, right? Whatever he is now, he's blue. You can expect him to feature heavily in the upcoming Season 6, but can the same be said for the apparently long-dead Sandor? We didn't see him die. It's true. And there's plenty of evidence to suggest he could have been rescued by the Brotherhood Without Banners, though we can't say for certain.
