8. Lancel Will Have A Big Role To Play
There's not a lot going for Cersei, and the reintroduction of Lancel Lannister just added to the currently messy situation going down in King's Landing. He was always the rejected Lannister, nervous and afraid, but now he's back with a shaved head as a member of the Sparrows, a religious movement in the city. He was seeking forgiveness for their bizarre relationship, as well as for drugging Robert Baratheon's wine the day he died. He knows Cersei's ways, and could be dangerous if he decides to speak out. Such a big character transformation would be pointless unless he had a role to play this season. The scene hints at the emergence of the Sparrows in the city, and also at the Lannister's wavering power - they're a family that, without Tywin, don't exert total control.
