Game Of Thrones: 10 Huge Questions To Consider Before Season 7

7. What Are The Implications Of Cersei Being Queen?

One of the things Game Of Thrones does so brilliantly is that is casts its multitude of characters in vastly different lights. One moment you're cursing the very existence of Cersei Lannister, the next you're totally rooting for her as she blows up a large portion of King's Landing and installs herself as queen.

Next season, we're going to witness the fallout of such badassery. Cersei Lannister sits on the Iron Throne. But what does that really mean? At this point, King's Landing is unlikely to ever be the same again. While the High Sparrow was causing all kinds of trouble for the higher ups, it's not like he was particularly cruel to the general populous. Will the same be said of Cersei? After all, she's now lost all of her children, so it wouldn't be surprising if she's totally cracked.

Another thing: will she have any supporters? She's literally seized power through brutal murder and fear, which means maintaining power will probably cost the same. It's entirely likely that King's Landing is about to go from bad to worse.
