Game Of Thrones: 10 Minor Characters With Big Roles To Play In The Finale

7. Selyse Baratheon

Selyse is one of the few characters that nobody has ever liked. Even the most evil-natured people in the world such as Joffrey, Tywin, and Ramsay have (or had) a certain villainy about them that makes them intriguing characters to watch, though Selyse has just been flat-out grim since she appeared. Stannis' wife is a convert to Melisandre's teachings, and she's all fine with barbecuing innocent civilians until it all gets too much when the Red Priestess through Selyse's daughter on the fire. Shireen's final cries of "mother" struck a chord, and for the first time Selyse looked like she had snapped out the trance she's been in. She saw that Stannis went too far, now how will she react to her daughter's death? She's perfectly placed to take some revenge on either Melisandre or Stannis, but will she seize the opportunity, or be won back around to their cause?
