Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Hated Characters
8. Bran Stark
Who has a better story than Bran the Broken? Well, most of them really.
Bran started off okay, no more annoying than any child his age, and as one of the Starks was presented us right from the off as one of the good guys.
Jaime shoving him out of the window only made him side with him more, then for the first couple of seasons with Luwin, Osha and Hodor he was a solid character. Nobody’s favourite, but not a total dud either.
The Three-Eyed Raven arc though saw his popularity sink like a stone.
A Macauley Caulkin sized dose of puberty didn’t help, nor did him being entirely removed from a whole season with zero impact. Worst though was when he finally became the Three-Eyed Raven, for no reason whatsoever.
He doesn’t really want anymore, but he came all the way to King’s Landing to be crowned king. Arya wants to know what’s West of Westeros, but her all seeing brother doesn’t tell her. He can warg into anything, but decides to just fly around on a bird through the Long Night.
The arc made Bran deeply unlikeable an had no impact yet was elevated to a key plot point. It left a lot of people sour on him.
