After Jon watches Daenerys burn an entire city, he finally realises that she’d be a tyrannical Queen. Being the honourable and loyal chap he is, he remains in denial. After a very enlightening conversation with Tyrion, he confronts Daenerys about her actions. When she unfortunately confirms all his fears, Jon does something terrible for the greater good and stabs her in the heart.

It’s an extremely emotional and tragic moment, with major repercussions for the future of the realm. Watching Daenerys getting so close to achieving everything she has ever wanted only to have it taken away is both devastating, and deserved considering the evil she inflicted on King’s Landing. For that reason, whenever a fan thinks back to this moment, it’ll bring a sad tear to their eye for years to come.
