Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Powerful Characters Going Into Season 7
7. Euron Greyjoy
A relatively new player to the game, Euron Greyjoy arrived in the Iron Islands last year, a perfect storm of madness, brutality, cunning, and ambition that saw him kill his brother Balon, win the Kingsmoot, and claim the Driftwood Crown.
Despite his obviously vindictive ways, we haven't yet seen the full extent of his villainy - something that should happen in Season 7.
He wants to build the greatest fleet ever seen, which might be a stretch too far but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he could assemble a truly fearsome fleet. As it stands, he already has a lot of men and is building more and more ships - even without those the rebels stole - and has experiences pretty much unique in Westeros, having sailed (or so he claims) on the Smoking Sea, and cemented his status as a ferocious pirate.
He's on the hunt for Theon and Yara - and as a consequence, Daenerys - and is likely to have a battle with them early on, which could set him back but is unlikely to fully stop his lust of power and blood. A relationship with Cersei seems a decent bet too, which would increase his power ranking even further.
