Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Powerful Characters Going Into Season 7

5. Bran Stark

Game Of Thrones Night King Daenerys
HBO

Bran Stark is another whose power is particularly hard to calculate right now, since a lot remains unknown about how much he truly wields.

He's been on one hell of a journey in the past few years - even if part of that involved sitting out an entire season - and under the tutelage of the Three-Eyed Raven we've witnessed his power grow exponentially.

Wargs aren't so rare that just being one would earn you a place among the most powerful characters, but Bran was able to warg into another person and fully control his actions - ok, it's Hodor, but still impressive, and even more so when we learn the true extent of their relationship (if also devastating).

Bran isn't just a warg though. One person in a thousand can be a warg, but only one warg in a thousand can be a greenseer, which shows how rare Bran is. He's able to have visions of the past, which gives him knowledge to influence his future decisions, and can quite possibly see the future too. He's also able to interact with the past, which could have - and indeed might've already - a major impact on Westeros.

Bran's powers could hold the key to saving Westeros, but he could also be the one who kicks off its downfall when he passes through the Wall.
