5. Roose Bolton

Roose Bolton has had such an easy ride. Through a combination of betrayal, treachery, a secret Lannister/Frey allegiance, a wedding, and a foolish Theon, he took the greatest Northern city of them all without even breaking a sweat. There was no genuine resistance for the Boltons who simply rode into Winterfell and seized control. Since then, Roose has simply let Ramsay wreak (Reek) havoc in the North. The major threat against the Bolton's dominance came in the form of Stannis' army, but Ramsay's plan was executed impeccably and the advancing forces were swept away before they'd even reached the walls. There aren't any foes to contend with just yet, and while that may all change soon, Roose is sitting pretty chilled in the North.
