Let's face it, no one likes Cersei Lannister. She has done some horrendous things over the last five years to some of the biggest fan favourites on the show, so when she got thrown into prison fans all had a collective "yay!" moment.

As the episodes rolled on and everyone saw how she was slowly broken down by the Sparrows, it was clearly time for the incestuous Lannister daughter to finally get her comeuppance, yet when it finally happened in Mother's Mercy there were no cheers or celebration.

As a naked Cersei walked to the Red Keep as people hurled abuse and plenty more at her, the scene changed from a happy moment to a shocking one. Although this character deserved a painful, brutal death for all she'd done, it didn't stop her long walk of shame - or atonement as the High Sparrow calls it - being any more horrific..

The hardest part of the scene was watching her try and display the unwavering strength and poise she'd exhibited throughout the show, yet slowly but surely break down from the physical and verbal abuse she received. Which only means next season is going to be filled with revenge kills because, you know, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
