Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Underrated Heroes

9. Bronn

It almost seems wrong to include a sell-sword in the list of underrated heroes; for Bronn, we can make an exception. Despite claiming that he had no loyalties and only cared about making money, Bronn often found himself on the right side.

Though most of his work was done for the Lannisters, a traditionally disliked family, he usually helped the more popular members with their struggles. He rescued Tyrion from Lady Arryn in season one and taught Jaime to fight with his remaining hand. These deeds were motivated by money, but they were heroic, nonetheless.

Bronn was fearless and would often agree to tasks with little regard for his own life. He visited Dorne to rescue Myrcella, fought bravely at Blackwater and even fought dragons at Highgarden. Most men would turn and flee but Bronn fired at the dragon with all his might. He was paid handsomely but that is, once again, besides the point.

In the final series, he was tasked with killing Jaime and Tyrion by their sister. He found them but didn't have the nerve to do it. Thus, proving he did have some morals. As the show ended, he somehow found himself on the King’s Council and Lord of Highgarden too. A deserving title for a great man.
