Sometimes being nice is the greatest act that someone can commit. Missandei was loving and fiercely loyal, both admirable traits that earned her a place on this list.

She is rescued by Daenerys in Astapor whilst working as an interpreter. After being freed from servitude, Missandei works as the Khaleesi's adviser. Initially quite a shy character, the former slave grows in stature as the show progresses. She eventually becomes one of the few people that Daenerys trusts.

An incredibly intelligent character, Missandei speaks 19 languages. Though it is her story involving the language of love that she is most fondly remembered for. Her relationship with Greyworm is one of pure emotion and a great spectacle to watch unfold. They evolve into a power couple and thankfully it's not incestuous like the other pair across the Narrow Sea.

It is towards the end of the show that we see Missandei develop as a fierce warrior. When told by Dany that she may die at war, she simply replies "Valhar Morghulis". As she faced death at the hands of Cersei, she bravely says "Dracarys". The quiet girl from Naath was long gone.

Her death was a tragedy and what happened afterwards was even worse. Thankfully she could rest in peace, oblivious to the fact that her leader was a complete lunatic.
