Game Of Thrones: 10 Questions We're Asking After 'Hardhome'

10. What's The Plan, Ramsay?

There's a 6,000 man army marching for Winterfell. The walls are reinforced, the Northern city is stocked full of food and supplies, Stannis' men are weakened by the weather, and all hope seems to be fading for him. But now Ramsay Bolton is ready to prove his worth in battle, proposing that he takes a small group of men out to finish off the Baratheon army before it even reaches the city gates. With the amount of other storylines kicking off, is there enough time for a major battle at Winterfell? What is Ramsay's plan? He's cunning, and while his methods are overly-brutal and his attitude often naive, what can he achieve with so few men? If he wants to kill Stannis, there are 6,000 men in his way. If he is looking for reinforcements, who will come? Could he somehow plan to block the road, slowly starving and freezing the army to death? It's a Ramsay-esque brand of slow torture.
