Game Of Thrones: 10 Questions We're Asking After 'Hardhome'
9. The End For Cersei?
Last week it was Margaery thrown onto her knees, this week it's Cersei. The pair have threatened to explode throughout they're time together, and now they're both in dire situations, though Cersei's crimes are surely far greater than Margaery's simple lies to defend her brother. The season opened with a Cersei flashback predicting doom for her and her future children, and that was not included for show. There's a meaning behind it, so does that mean Tommen is also in grave danger? If Cersei is found guilty, then her son's illegitimate reign will surely end, then the race for the Iron Throne is well and truly on. Cersei is living on borrowed time, and soon it will run out, though there's the looming presence of The Mountain's freakish re-incarnation to come. Will Qyburn's experiments work? Will The Mountain prove to be some form of prison-breaking machine? Time will tell.
