6. Is This Jorah's Final Goodbye?

Ser Jorah Mormont, Lord of the Friendzone, is on the decline. He looks and sounds like a dead man walking, but will it be a glorious departure or a heartbreaking demise? He could enter the fighting pits and somehow save Daenerys' life, earning her favour, but dying in the process via sword or greyscale. Or he could earn her favour, regain her trust, then reveal his greyscale and ask to be executed by Daenerys herself so that she keeps her vow but he dies honourably in her eyes. That, of course, is total guesswork and could be true, partially true or purely false. Jorah might even pull through if they managed to amputate his arm or treat him in some way, but turning into a full stone man looks like a long shot. He's a good character, and he's a cult hero, but while everyone wants to see him pull through, Meereen might be his final destination.
