Game Of Thrones: 10 Questions We're Asking After 'Hardhome'

5. What Is The White Walker Hierarchy?

Okay then, the white walkers have arrived, but we really don't know a lot about them at all. They came with an army of wights, they butchered the wildlings, they raised the dead, and fans don't really know a great deal more about the motives, abilities and system of the undead. There was a distinct hierarchy at Hardhome with the skeletal wights and reanimated corpses being the foot soldiers, then there were the mounted, 'cleaner' white walker warriors, then their supposed king, complete with an in-built crown. He was an incredible presence, and without saying a single word he managed to completely dominate the scene. But is he the highest on the chain of command? A 'white walker kingdom' episode in Season 6 would be unlikely, yet unbelievable. Fans want to see if there are any varieties or greater threats, and fans want to know more about their motives, society and basically everything about them. And what is the significance behind Craster's children, who made a reappearance as fully zombified beings. They're creepy, but why do the white walkers need them?
