Game Of Thrones: 10 Things To Do While Waiting For Season 4

4. Name A Wilding Child

In season three, Gilly, one of Craster's daughters/wives, gives birth to a child and then names him after her rescuer, Samwell Tarly. Unlike his pal, Jon Snow, Sam has not broken his vow of chastity and Gilly chooses to name her son/half-brother after him in recognition of what he means to her. Since I don't have any unnamed children roaming around, I had to search a bit to cross this item off my list. Eventually, I did find this one kid in my neighborhood who goes around barking like a rabid pitbull and makes my kids cry and the cat pee under the bed. Up until now, I've mostly been calling him swear words, but, as Samwell pointed out, everyone needs a name, even if it's not the one his parents gave him. What's wrong with calling him Duncan, or Trister, or Guymon? Those are all perfectly good names. I guess I'll steer clear of Craster, Jr., though the kid's behavior would be more understandable if we could blame it on him being a product of incest.
