Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Blood Of My Blood'

1. A Girl Is Arya Stark

Game of Thrones Arya Needle
HBO

Following on from last week, Arya has a big choice to make. Does she go ahead and kill the actress, thus further committing herself to the House of Black and White and life as a Faceless Man, or refuse and remember who she really is, reclaiming her old self but putting her life in danger.

At first she does poison the rum, choosing to do as Jaqen bids. But then, after a conversation with Lady Crane, she realises her mistake, comes to her senses, and knocks the rum out of her hands. All in front of the Waif, although Arya doesn't know it.

She then does what we've all been waiting for (or I have, anyway, but did anyone truly want her to completely leave Arya behind?) and retrieves Needle. For as long as that sword was in Braavos, and she knew of its location, there was always going to be some Arya Stark in her, and she's fully gone back to it. Now she's left, sitting in the dark with the sword her half-brother gave her, and will soon be fighting for her life. But she'll be doing it as Arya Stark, not no one.

Now, onto what wasn't so good.
