Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Blood Of My Blood'

8. Bran's Visions

As Bran and Meera try to make their escape, Bran goes through a whirlwind of different visions, all the history of Westeros being downloaded into his brain as a handy YouTube compilation.

There was an awful lot to take in here, but the bits that were easy to catch were exciting: young Ned at the Tower of Joy, old Ned being beheaded, lots of White Walkers and wights, Drogon over King's Landing, and best of all the Mad King.

The Kingslaying is a major event, and we finally get to see it happen here; indeed it happens so quickly that it's a shame really, because it'd be wonderful to see that properly play out in detail. Still, we get to hear Aerys shout "burn them all" and see Jaime stabbing him and then sitting on the Iron Throne, so it's hard to complain too much.
