Game Of Thrones: 10 Worst Changes From The Books

1. Turning Euron Into A Joke

Euron game of thrones

This guy really should have become the most terrifying villain ever to plague our screens. Instead we got a man with silly mutton chops delivering the most ridiculous lines of dialogue in the show.

Book Euron is a character who threatens to undo everything the Lannisters have worked so hard for. He's raiding the coasts of Westeros, amassing plunder and ships, and generally causing terror. His Iron Men are roaming around unchecked, pillaging and burning their way up and down the country.

Euron has also sent his (not-in-the-show) younger brother, Victarion, with another fleet to capture Dany. Euron has 'gifted' his brother a Dragon Horn, which when blown, will potentially bind Dany's dragons to Euron's will.

He's also gathering huge amounts of holy men and women for some kind of mass-ritualistic-blood-sacrifice, which will likely summon a fleet of krakens.

This guy might become such a threat to Westeros that the Starks, Boltons, Lannisters and whoever else is left alive, will have to team up in the hopes of stopping him... , well maybe that's a stretch. But the point is this guy is going to cause some serious issues for everyone who's not on team squid.
