Game Of Thrones: 10 Worst Episodes (According To IMDb)
5. Winterfell - 7.6
Despite how season eight is looked at today, the final chapter in the Game of Thrones saga actually enjoyed a solid, if unspectacular opening. Daenerys and Jon arrived in Winterfell as Westeros' new power couple, there were even more Stark reunions, and the white walkers descended south toward Winterfell via the Last Hearth.
'Winterfell' introduced several of the main stories and themes that would be present throughout season eight, but nothing more. After waiting just shy of two years for the highly anticipated final season, which had only six episodes instead of ten to tie everything together for a satisfying ending, fans simply expected more.
Many of the new threads that were pulled for season eight really didn't need to be pulled. In a condensed season with so much to get through, surely there was little to no room for many new subplots. Yet still we saw Bronn charged with killing the Lannister brothers, which ultimately led to very little, Arya and Gendry took their relationship to the next level, which led to even less, and the Golden Company arrived in King's Landing, which led to absolutely nothing.
