Game Of Thrones Dragon Dragon Daenerys Death
HBO

After the disappointing Battle of Winterfell was all said and done, surely now was the time for Jon and Daenerys to address the elephant in the room. The man formerly known as Ned Stark's bastard found out about his true heritage in episode one and said nothing. Even after defeating the dead, a result of Jon's life's work, still nothing really happened surrounding this revelation.

After years of wondering and speculating, fans rejoiced as Jaime finally left Cersei in the past and embraced his relationship with Brienne. This joy lasted less than the length of an episode however, as Jaime left to go crawling back to his twin in King's Landing.

Cersei herself revealed to Euron Grejoy that she was pregnant, which like so many other subplots in season eight, eventually led to nothing.

The greatest sin of this episode however, is without a doubt the infamous scene in which a coffee cup could be seen in front of Daenerys during the celebrations in Winterfell. There is no greater example of just how lazy the showrunners became in their desperation to finish the series.
