3. Tyrion Murdered His Own Father

While Westeros is a medieval world where murder, rape, and piliage are common in the streets, there are some things that are sacred, and some deeds that are unforgivable.

Jaime Lannister was never allowed to forget that he murdered his king, the worst thing about the Red Wedding was that it broke the laws of hospitality, and there is special place reserved in the seven hells for kinslayers. Murdering family is one thing, but to murder one's father is a crime so terrible that even the outlaws at the Wall would struggle to forgive it.

Upon escaping his imprisonment and pending execution, Tyrion takes a detour of the maze underneath King's Landing to find Tywin's bed being warmed by the very whore his Lord father condemned him for keeping. After taking her life, the Imp moves through the chambers with crossbow in hand, to kill the man who made his life a misery since the day he was born.

While so many in Westeros would be unflinching in their stance toward kinslaying, perhaps seeing what Tywin had done to Tyrion throughout the course of his life would allow at least a little empathy for the youngest Lannister son.
